According to the data, in January, the output of cars and light commercial vehicles in Brazil was 147800, down 15.6% month-on-month and 9.8% year-on-year. The output of trucks was 4049, down 72.3% month-on-month and 57.2% year-on-year. The output of passenger cars was 782, down 57.9% month-on-month and 41% year-on-year.
In terms of employment, in January, the number of employees in Brazil's automobile industry was 102100, a slight increase of 0.2% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 1.3%.
